Music Appreciation

The music you are hearing are original 8 bar melodies composed by students in this semester's Music Appreciation class.

Course Description:

Music Appreciation is an one semester course in which we will be discussing elements of music, various periods of musical history (Medieval through the 20th century), prominent composers, and the many genres of music.  As music is an aural art, ear training and listening exercises will also be incorporated.  If interest and time allows, trips to see live musical performances may be a possibility.
