School Year 2008 - 2009
In Loving Memory of
Sean Niebrugge
March 16, 1994 - April 16, 2008

His life lives on in our hearts and memories!
I am looking forward to welcoming back all of the 8th grade students and getting to know all of the 7th grade students.
Best wishes for a GREAT school year !!!!

My goal this year is for the students to learn and grow as students and as young adults. I am looking forward to teaching all 7th grade English classes, and all 8th grade Literature classes. Here is a short summary of what is expected in each of these classes:
7th grade English
-- Grades will be taken on English quizzes, tests, paragraphs and
essays written.
-- Vocabulary is also part of the English grade with Tuesdays and
Thursdays being
designated as vocabulary days. Each unit will be graded and a test given.
-- We will also be doing Daily Oral Language each day and some
grades will be
taken on that.

8th grade Literature --
Grades will be taken on Literature quizzes, tests, and projects.
-- The A.R. program is a part of Literature and one test grade each
quarter will
be given according to how many points a student earns. This will be explained
in a letter home. The 8th grade students will have one class period each week
to read in order to accomplish the A.R. goal.
7th grade Religion --
Grades will be taken on daily work, quizzes, and any projects given.
-- Religion class is a great time for a class to get to know one
another
and
spend time learning how to use our gifts and talents to serve others. It
is
also a time for learning how to live out the ten commandments every day
of our lives.

Always hang in there and do your best!!
