NOTE: Open Campus Lunch - food
will not be served at the high school on exam days.
Students may use the Multi Purpose Room for eating and studying during off
periods.
Exam Exemptions
Only seniors may be exempt from final examinations and only for year-long courses. The student must have maintained an 85% average in the course. The teacher verifies this average, completes the "Senior Exemption Form" and submits it to the guidance counselor one week prior to the scheduled examination. The teacher is responsible for notifying students of their exemption status.
If a student is absent (excused or not excused) 9 times or tardy 9 times in a class within the school year they are disqualified from exemption status from that class. Retreat days and college day(s) will not count toward the 9 absences. If a student is suspended either by an In-School Suspension or Out-of-School Suspension from school, they will be disqualified from exemption status for the school year.
