Welcome to 8th Grade

English and Vocabulary/Spelling!

        Eighth grade students will have me for English and Vocab/Spelling. At the beginning of the year, we will be reviewing what has been covered in the previous years. As the year continues, we will build on that prior knowledge. As far as homework is concerned, students will be given assignments. However, they will be given time in class to complete the assignments. Tests will be given at the end of a chapter and unit. I will make ample time in class to review and practice the chapter in order to prepare for the upcoming test.
