Welcome to St. Anthony Grade School. While St. Anthony Grade School is a Catholic school where tradition is important, children of all faiths are welcome. This school has a long educational history dating as far back as 1869. Even though the school is the oldest Catholic school in Effingham, we have a building which was opened in 2009, offering a PreK-8 program. With this new building we have the latest in technology in each and every classroom. St. Anthony has a reputation of offering a quality, well rounded education where students excel both academically, athletically, and in the arts.

 Religion is not just taught as a subject but is modeled and practiced. The atmosphere of the school embodies a positive attitude since we use the Positive Behavior Interventions and Solutions program.
