http://www.photoshop.com is a site that allows for digital photos and video to be stored, organized, edited, and shared. The site requires registration but sign-up is free.

http://www.gimp.org is a free image editor similar to Photoshop that allows the user to erase, copy, smudge, lighten and darken, work with layers, gradients, palettes, scripts, and plug-ins. Program must be downloaded before use.

http://www.splashup.com is an image editor that has a host of Photoshop-like tools that include smudge, pan, zoom, eyedropper, text, eraser, paint bucket, marker, free transform, crop, and lasso. No registration or downloading required.
