I am happy to be teaching at St. Anthony for the eighth year. This year, I will be teaching English I, III, IV, Speech and Comp. I will also be the Scholar Bowl Coach. I completed my B.A. and M.A. through Eastern Illinois University.

Educational Philosophy
I believe that students should be actively engaged and responsible for their learning. I believe in  diversified curriculum, assessment, and learning styles. I try to make my class as interactive as possible through various classroom activities, group projects, and oral presentations. I vary my teaching style to accomadate the learning styles of my students.

I enjoy teaching literature because it enriches an invdividual's appreciation of the arts, humanity, cultures, and diversity. I also believe that learning to become a clear and purposeful writer should be a primary goal for all high school students.
