St. Anthony Parish Picnic

St. Anthony parish holds an annual picnic the second full weekend in August beginning on Saturday evening and continuing Sunday at noon after morning Mass, lasting into the evening.
The picnic is one of the parish's key fundraisers to support the operating budget of the schools.

As an annual event for more than 50 years, the picnic is a traditional, family atmosphere with a chicken and pork dinner, bingo, raffles, food and beverage stands, craft and garden stands, and games for all ages.  It is also a traditional weekend for St. Anthony alumni to return home to visit family and friends.

The Bulldog Challenge 5K Run/Walk was added in 2008 and takes place on Saturday morning to help kick off picnic weekend.

A wiffle ball tournament was also added in recent years to the Sunday afternoon activities and invites teams from all communities.

St. Anthony parish welcomes people of all ages to our annual picnic and enjoys sharing the traditional, family atmosphere with those who visit.
