Spelling Words for week of Sept. 29

bed   men   red   step   ten   net   leg   jet   sled   wet   saw   your

I nap in the bed.

The red hen is wet.

Don't forget the service projects for the month of Oct.

Week 1 - your child can do a job at home to earn a quarter to buy books for our friends at East Side School to show our appreciation for the use of their playground.

Week 2 - we will pray a decade of the rosary each day for world peace.

Week 3 - your child can do a job at home to earn a can of food to give to Catholic Charities.

Week 4 - your child can help the earth by recycling aluminum cans, ink cartridges, phone books, and pop tabs.

Thanks for helping our children realize the importance of service.

Homework 

Math - Side B of worksheet Monday through Thursday 

Phonics - Side B of worksheet Monday through Thursday 

Reading - Please read with/to your child daily.  Look for a letter of explanation soon.

Spelling words will be sent home on Monday and tests will be on Friday.  This will not start right away.

Mass will be on Wednesday mornings at 8:30

PE will be on Thursday...remember to wear tennis shoes!
