Treasurer’s Report  Chg  Total Deposits $12,979.18

Topic 1:  Uniforms

            An inventory of uniforms will be taken of all uniforms before next meeting.

A notice will be placed in the church bulletin in hopes of retrieving any missing uniforms.

Topic 2:  Volley Fest

            Lori Martin has agreed to chair this event.  1 adult and 2 students per shift will be scheduled.

Topic 3:  Theater Production

            Deposit for production has been made.  Ideas for marketing this project tabled until next meeting.

Topic 4:  Pizza Scheduled for 11/12 to 11/26

Topic 5:  Meet The Bulldogs scheduled for 11/16

            Music teachers have agreed to have students from all grade levels perform.  It will also feature different types of talent.  Since it is unlikely we will have a Variety Show this year we will use this opportunity to show case our talented students.

Topic 6:  Florida Music Contest Trip Scheduled for 4/9 to 4/13

            Payment schedules have been mailed to all possible participants.  This packet includes details of the trip and a summary of upcoming fund raisers.

Topic 7:  SAMBA Dues

            Motion carried to raise membership to $20

Topic 8:  Class Representation

                 Nancy Jansen volunteered to represent the 5^th and 6^th graders at the monthly Samba meetings.  In the event she is unable to attend a meeting she will find a replacement.  Another representative will be obtained to represent the 7^th and 8^th graders.  High School Students are already represented.

Topic 9:  Faculty Reports

Christy Cyrus -  Just completed her studies for her Masters at U of I, Has 3 years experience teaching. 

Barb Konrad-  Has accepted a new position as music director at the church.  Her No 1 objective to involve many more young people in the services.  Klavena program is will be a bit delayed, but the new programs has some exciting new features.  Barb is also hoping to begin an adult Bell Choir. 

Christine Whitlach-  30 Choral students this year.  Hoping to get those students committed to the Florida Trip. 

Other business: The By laws and The SAMBA Reimbursement Plan will be reviewed by the members before next month’s meeting.  At which time revisions can be made.
