- Band/Chorus Trip
- Laura
will begin working with music festival tour group the first week of June
once this year’s music festival season is over.
2008 rates will not be available until then.
- Sporting
events are scheduled for the date of the trip (girls softball, boys
baseball, boys tennis). Laura
spoke with Mike Hoene and he verified that this trip takes precedence over
regular season games and no penalties would be applied to athletes who
attend the band/chorus competition trip.
Laura will emphasize this at the next Parent Meeting.
- Parent
Meeting to be scheduled for May. All
SAMBA members present agreed that because we need the majority of
band/chorus members to participate, we need to get a deposit and signed
commitment letter up front to help eliminate last minute cancellations.
Will also set up a payment schedule for those who cannot or choose
not to raise money through fundraisers.
